Slag micro powder production line

Luoyang Building materials & Architectural Design and Research Institute (LCDRI) slag vertical roller mill integrates the functions of fine crushing, grinding, drying, powder selecting and conveying, with the advantages of high grinding

Project scale: annual output of 1200000 tons superfine powder. 
Design capacity: 145-170 tons /hour.
The actual output: 155 tons / hour. 
The specific surface area: more than 420m2/kg..
Power consumption per unit of output: less than or equal to 38kwh/t (includingvertical mill motor, powder selecting machine and electricity consumption of oil station).
Product line covers an area of about 50-60 acres.
Total time: from the beginning of the design to the total duration of normal operation of the production line is about 8-10 months.

Process description

Vertical mill used in slag grinding, with high drying ability. In the system, mill inlet smoke air temperature approximate 250℃, outlet exhaust gas temperature about 100℃, water content 8% slag could be used for drying. Vertical mill output high, single equipment capacity could reach to 1 million above. Vertical mill could compact crush in layers of vitreous body, so that energy utilization ratio could improve highly. Vertical mill slag grinding system unit power consumed 45~55kW·h/t when slag have been ground into 400m2/kg surface area.

Production process

The material through the feed tube fell into the center of slag grinding plant, and then the materials outwards the surrounding area of grinding plate at centrifugal force, to forms a certain thick layer of materials bed, at the same time material was crushed by number of vertical mill rollers. The materials continuous moving to the outer edge of the grinding plate, off the grinding plate materials rising with the hot air which enter from wind ring into the vertical roller mill, through the vertical roller mill shell into the middle of the separator, in this course materials and hot gas got a fully heat exchange, the water quickly evaporates. Separator controls the finished product output size, greater than the specified size are separated and fall back to the plate, while meet the fineness demands are brought through the separator into the finished product warehouse.

Features

 -saving land

The whole production line of compact structure, small occupied space, an annual output of 200000 tons of slag powder production line only 15-20 mu of land.

- low noise, environmental protection standards

The production line running noise and vibration are very low, and the fan device sound proof room and silencer dual processing, make the system noise emission is less than 60-70 dB, can reach the standard.

- greatly saving power

Due to the advanced grinding mechanism, technological process is simple, small installed capacity, grinding ultra-fine powder of traditional tube mill system can save electric energy with respect to 45-60%, the electric energy for grinding cement can save 35-40%.
